Rub-A-Dub-Dub

Lily and I thought it might be nice to clean up a little after our big hike this weekend. I am showing Lily my technique for making bathtub shakes and how, if you use the most bubbly water, it tastes better than the less bubbly water.

Ok little girl....time to try the tub milkshake.

PRIMA BALLERINA

Thursdays are my new ballet days. Mommy found a great class for me in Weaverville and after my 1st class 2 weeks ago, I fell in love with it!

There are some great dancers in my class and I really enjoy practicing some new moves with them.

Our instructor teaches us about poise,

posture

and grace.

We talk about our technique for a little while.

Then, it's back to the moves.

I love my new dress and slippers and I can't wait to give you all a recital when I see you.

HAPPY 4TH O' JULY

Hey everybody! Well, we had a great time last week for the 4th celebrating our independence from that dastardly British empire. Here I am sporting my patriotic duds for the festivities to come.

Uncle Sam was too slow with the camera. It was great to spend time with him, as always. Uncle Sam is really funny and always gives Edie and I lots of love and attention.

This is Uncle Gordon and Fletcher playing some "small ball". Fletcher, Melissa and their 3 year old son Makai came over to the Macy compound for a picnic and BBQ.

After eating we all walked down town for the Weaverville 4th of July EXTRAVAGANZA! Edie danced with Aunt Sarah while Mommy bounced me to the cool beats of "Easy Listening Rock Revival". An old favorite around these here parts.

When we got back Uncle Sam pushed me and Makai on the rope swing while Sadie ran around smelling like the drainage ditch at the disc golf course.

Here are all the Macy siblings hangin' on the front porch. Oh yeah, and my big sister. This was about the time all the dogs got fed handfuls of Valium to get prepared for the big fireworks show right overhead. I slept through the whole thing but Edie said it was beautiful. They even had some fireworks in the shape of a smiley face!

FAMILY REUNION

We just got back from Knoxville, Tennessee where we had a family reunion of Mommy's Aunts and Uncles on Poppy's side. Here we are in cousin Shannon and Nick's house from Left: My big sister Edie, cousin Hillary and JJ's 6 month old Claire, Little old me, Mommy's Uncle Bill (he's a great guitar player), cousin Monica and David's 2 year old Will and Shannon and Nick's 8 month old Nicholas. This is where we had a BBQ and people took turns going wake boarding on the boat.

This is cousin Hillary with little Claire in the Bjorn. Mommy's Uncle Kirk is on the right enjoying a cup of coffee and talking with the fellas about his recent train restoration. The hotel was very nice with a pool, which we enjoyed quite often in the heat, and nice patio where we all caught up. Notice the interesting artwork in the background. I found it strange that the hotel would have a framed picture of Aunt Rach on the wall. They really made you feel at home.

Here I am with Poppy's sister Paula. Her and Uncle Bill are very sweet and are the parents of Shannon, Monica, Hillary and Lisa.

This is Poppy's sister Judy with little Nicholas. She and Uncle Kirk are Lindsay's Mommy and Daddy. They Live in Chicago near Uncle Sam.

Speaking of which, here from the right is Uncle Sam, Poppy, Uncle Gordon and Poppy's brother in law Sandy. They are discussing how long it would take for a 60 mile free-fall from space, assuming you had the right suit on. If I'm not mistaken, Sandy figured it out to be about 2 minutes, taking into consideration gravity and lack there of. Sandy is an astrophysicist who invented Star Wars or something and he and Chaya (Poppy's sister)are the parents of David and Simcha.

On our way back home we stopped in Hot Springs and took a little walk together and shared a milk shake. Edie was whooped but I was doing great for my 1st long car ride and a long weekend of being held and coochy cooed. Mommy and Daddy had a great time with us and each other and we can't wait to see everyone again soon. Time to go now.

ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!!!

Local Folks Revisited

The Donkeys down the street had a sweet little baby!

Here, the Daddy is keeping close eye on us while the baby tried to get up and walk.

Here little Donkey! I got to feed them some cucumbers and carrots. Lilly can't use her hands yet so I did the feeding. She loved to watch them though.

Come on little baby, you can do it.

Almost there!

Yeaaaa! You Did It!

Daddy just had to put this on here.
