A fine Father's Day was had by all at the Bauer house. After a good day of work on the addition on Saturday and his best round of disc golf on Sunday morning, Daddy enjoyed a day of rest with his family. Mommy and Edie surprised Daddy in bed with some pastries from the bakery, a great new book and some wonderful paintings they each did for him.
After MiMi and Mommy put on a great spread for lunch (shishka-bob on the grill and fruit salad and short cake), MiMi got to spend time with her little grand baby.
While Poppy spun tall tales to the little ones, Uncle Gordon and Aunt Rach got in a round of Boccie-Ball and the world was good. Family, food, cold beverages, what else could be better?
Maybe a quiet nap on Sadie.
