Irresistible Birthday Cake

When Daddy got home from work last Friday, Mommy and I were very excited. We had spent many hours making him a really nice cake for his Birthday. Mommy let me help mix the batter and lick off the spoons. While Mommy was getting everything ready, the temptation just overtook me. But like I told Mommy and Daddy when they saw the chocolate on my face; ONLY TWO, ONLY TWO.
That means I only ran 2 fingers through the cake, no more.

I wonder how they could tell it was me.

Bele Chere 2006

Bele Cher is an annual art and music festival here in Asheville.

This year over 300,000 people showed up to enjoy a variety of local arts and foods samplings.

Over 80 bands showed up and the fun runs from Friday through Sunday.

There is a large kid's area where I got to go down the Potato Sack Slide with Mommy.

Daddy took me on the Merry-Go-Round.

Maybe next year some of you will be in town and we can go together.

Easy Rider

I'm getting pretty good at riding my bike.

Sometimes I even go one-handed.

Baby Riley likes to ride in back sometimes and when she's not in the back, I like to carry around my sidewalk chalk.

Station # 9

We all went to my friend Connor's birthday party a few weeks a go and I just now got a chance to write to you all.

After a great party at Connor's house in the mountains, where we played on the swings and ate pizza and cake, everyone piled into their cars and we rode into town. Much to my surprise, we arrived at Fire Station 9 of Asheville.

The Firelady dressed up in all her gear just to show us not to be scared if she ever came into our house. Everybody had a great time and they even turned on the lights and sirens and let us climb into the fire engine. It was a really fun birthday party and I think all the Daddys enjoyed themselves.
